It's definitely different. Reminds me of my childhood. Makes you want to dance. And the first line is only the second best part (don't worry - you'll hear the best part the moment you listen). Check yourself into emergency urgently it just works, don't you think?

And yes... you're right. It's non other than our favorite (late favorite) trio - The Unicorns. They may be extinct (or in hiding) but their music lives on. Their first recording, Unicorns Are People Too, was released on the band's own label and was limited to 500 copies. Though later in 2003 the band would release what would be their only labeled album together, Who Will Cut Our Hair When We're Gone? However, I'm sad to admit that this is one band I will never see live, but let's not cry over simple facticities.

The essence of the Unicorns does live on as the front man, Nick Diamonds continues to bless the masses with his music. In 2005 Diamonds and fellow Unicorn, J'aime Tambeur formed Islands. Though Tambeur left the band earlier this year, Islands live on.



I have had the pleasure of seeing Islands live, and they love their fans and their music. They are an experience that I think everyone should have at least once in their life (if not more). But Islands are for another day and another post. Today is the ever fun (again French - though they do sing in English - and spastic) Unicorns
